Hey there! My name is Star Houze, and I'm the STL Louis Tour Guide Lady. Here, I will be sharing all the local events and my experience as I tour the exciting city of St. Louis.
I have to admit, I'm no native of St. Louis; however, that doesn't make me any less of an expert or change my affinity towards it. I relocated to St. Louis about 8 years ago after moving from multiple cities. I wasn't too thrilled about where I had been. So, I set out to find the land of fun and adventure, and I found just that.
I've always been a bit of a nomad; however, being the mother of 2 young children hasn't always supported that lifestyle. Thankfully, this bountiful city has allowed me to carry out my desire for exploration.
There are so many things I love about this city, from the thousands of eclectic restaurants to the live concerts in some of the most beautiful parks. St. Louis provides endless possibilities for exploration and fun. You can literally have a new experience for months without repeating an activity.
Additionally, it has a diverse fabric that hosts ethnic groups from all over the world. It's a place where you can experience Japanese festivals, Mardi Gras festivals, Cinco De Mayo festivals, Pride celebrations, Ethiopian cuisine, Brazilian cuisine, you name it. How awesome is that?
