Join this talk which examines how Davis revolutionized jazz with fusion, inspired by funk, rock, and psychedelic music. It will also address the socio-political context, including Black Power, Afrofuturism, and how his music reflected broader cultural shifts.




Kendrick Smith hosts Wednesday Late Night at Blue Strawberry. The Kendrick Smith Trio kicks the evening off. Interested composers, players, vocalists and students are invited to stop by every week and join in the music making.
