5 Things to Do in St. Louis This Weekend: October 15–18, 2026

St. Louis, this weekend is bringing the kind of mix I love: food and makers on Delmar, two very different theater nights, a free creative outing for families, and a Sunday afternoon made for music. Here are five ways to make October 15–18 your own.

1. Eat, shop and dance at Delish on Delmar

Delmar turns into a neighborhood block party on Friday, October 16, from 5–10 p.m. Expect local food and drinks, makers, live music and nearby Third Friday arts activities. Admission is free; food, drinks and purchases from vendors are extra. Find the festivities on Delmar Boulevard between Union and Kingshighway.

2. Catch a performance at The Rep

If live theater with a musical streak sounds like your kind of night, The Rep’s 2 Pianos 4 Hands follows two aspiring pianists through lessons, competitions and big musical ambitions—with plenty of comedy along the way. This weekend’s performances include Thursday, October 15 at 7 p.m., Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, October 18 at 2 p.m. It plays at the Loretto-Hilton Center, 130 Edgar Road in Webster Groves. Ticket prices vary by seat; check the box office for current availability.

3. See Death Becomes Her at the Fabulous Fox

For a glamorous night out with a wickedly funny edge, Death Becomes Her brings its musical comedy to the Fabulous Fox. Catch it Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday, October 18 at 1 p.m. at 527 N. Grand Blvd. Tickets vary by seat and performance; the Fox lists prices starting at $60 for Friday evening and $46 for the Sunday matinee, including service fees.

4. Make something at MADE for Kids—for free

A little creative time can go a long way. MADE for Kids hosts Free Family Night Friday, October 16, from 5–8 p.m. at 5127 Delmar Blvd. Admission is free for a family of up to two adults and four of their children. It’s a lovely pick for curious kids who like to design, build and try things with their hands.

5. Let Sunday groove at Tongue & Groove

Keep the weekend going with an afternoon of live band music, DJs, cocktails and grown-and-sophisticated energy. Tongue & Groove is Sunday, October 18, from 3–8 p.m. at The Key STL, 3225 Olive St. General admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The organizer describes it as an adult event and encourages stylish attire.

Hidden Gem: Greenway Matcha at Upshot Coffee

Take a little detour for Greenway Matcha, a collaboration between Upshot Coffee and Great Rivers Greenway. It’s a refreshing excuse to pair a coffee stop with a stroll on a nearby greenway. Upshot’s Tower Grove Flyby menu lists it at $6.75; check the café’s current hours and availability before you go.

Star’s Pick

My pick this weekend is Death Becomes Her at the Fox. A little theater, a little glamour and a whole lot of humor feels like a good reason to make a night of it.
